Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Clerk to join our team.

Town Pump is a growing company with increasing opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing excellent customer service, handling cash, stocking, pricing, rotating, and displaying merchandise, maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store, ensuring store safety and security, and selling and preparing deli food.
2. Operating computerized cash registers, giving correct change, processing credit card transactions, accepting checks, and bagging merchandise.
3. Remembering regular customers' names and faces, answering and screening phone calls, monitoring store security, detecting shoplifters, and addressing customer complaints.
4. Stocking shelves and coolers, completing shift duties accurately, cleaning all store areas, managing vendor check-ins, following protocol systems, and reporting policy violations to the store manager.
5. Maintaining the parking lot and outdoor areas, shoveling snow, cleaning gas pumps, refilling water and cleaning solution buckets, and performing other duties as assigned by management.
6. Keeping the hot dog roller, nacho and popcorn machines, condiment station, coffee, and fountain areas clean, stocked, and filled.
7. Performing deli duties in smaller locations as specified in the deli job description.
