Qualifications

• Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and documentation.
• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for tracking, inventory, and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping and distribution operations.
• Ensure timely shipping and proper labeling of products.
• Gather, review, and sort daily orders by ship date.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure orders are shipped on time.
• Match product and customer orders to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare UPS/FedEx shipments according to requirements.
• Assist with inventory activities including cycle counting.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping activities.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Communicate with carriers and customers about issues.
