Job summary

Charter Schools USA in Florida is seeking a Full-Time Day Custodian to keep school facilities clean, safe, and well maintained, supporting a productive learning environment.

You will perform interior and exterior cleaning, follow OSHA safety procedures, and collaborate with the Head Custodian to ensure reliable maintenance across campuses. Must have a high school diploma and at least one year of janitorial experience; travel to nearby schools may be required.

Qualifications

• Education — minimum high school graduate with continuing education construction or facilities related.
• Experience — A minimum of 1 years of janitorial trade experience.
• Special Qualifications — Must possess the above knowledge, skills, and abilities (Skills and Knowledge).

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas: interior - hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multi-purpose room; exterior - perimeter, parking lot, playground, windows.
• Empty trash from all receptacles and maintain cleanliness.
• Dust FF&E, window sills, air vents; sterilize restrooms.
• Clean up bodily messes in accordance with training.
• Assist with cleaning cafeteria tables and maintain cafeteria floors.
• Support preventive maintenance processes and safety procedures.
• Travel may be required to nearby schools or warehouse/storage.
