Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Sanitation Teammate in Kentucky to maintain a clean, safe distribution facility. You will perform cleaning across offices, DC areas, restrooms, break rooms, and entry points, following standard safety procedures.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (11:00am–7:30pm) with a comprehensive benefits package that starts on day 60, plus vacation, sick leave, and holidays after 90 days. Join a long-established, safety-focused team powering a national network.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Read, write, and understand English well enough to perform job tasks safely and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows /walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick-up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.
