Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Unit. This full-time position offers a day shift and a focus on safe, compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-quality hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited RN program graduate and current Nevada license with an active BLS certification. Prior acute care experience is preferred to support patient families and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Prefer 1 year FT or 3 years PT in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Involves psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care, develops goals and discharge plans.
