Qualifications
- Florida RN license required.
- CPR certification required.
- One year of long-term care or Med-Surg/Home Health preferred.
- On-the-job training available if needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants on day shift.
- Manage admissions and discharges during the day shift.
- Review day case load with Med nurse and update care plans as needed.
- Document daily skilled care for Med A residents and notify MD/NP when issues arise.
- Monitor labs/x-rays and ensure actions are completed.
- Assist with EMAR/ETAR documentation and charts.
- Coordinate pharmacy deliveries and resolve med availability issues.
- Attend required meetings and support weekend rotation.
