Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Anesthesia Surgery Screening (PASS) team on a part-time basis. The role involves assessing and admitting patients, conducting rounds, administering medications, and communicating with families to ensure safe, quality care.

Typical hours are 07:30–4:00, Monday through Friday, with no nights or major weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Virginia RN License (or Compact/Multi-State) with BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients.
