Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a seasoned RNFA/Perioperative nurse to organize and facilitate patient care in the Operating Room. You will coordinate with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and staff to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS, CNOR; CRNFA preferred with perioperative experience and a focus on patient safety. This is a full-time position with day shift responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• RNFA program completion meeting AORN standards.
• Two years perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• RN licensure in state of practice required (per job).
• CRNFA certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• CNOR certification required.
• PEARS/PALS certification preferred.
• AORN membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs circulating and scrubbing duties with sterile technique.
• Assists with patient transfer, positioning, prepping and draping in the OR.
• Maintains sterile field and observes aseptic technique; supports surgeon as needed.
• Documents patient data, nursing diagnoses and discharge plan; mentoring staff.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
