Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Charles B. Webster Detention Center in Augusta, GA. This full-time position offers a day shift and a competitive benefits package, including an annual incentive bonus.

The RN will provide high-quality care within state practice acts, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate with the healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Active CPR certification.
• Remains knowledgeable about state laws and regulations governing practice.
• Complete initial and annual clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor symptoms or changes in patients' condition and report them.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Direct or supervise nursing staff and assist with examinations or treatments.
