Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for the 4 South Days shift. Under the Charge Nurse, you will administer nursing fundamentals, contribute to assessments, develop care plans, and participate in nursing care evaluations for individual patients or patient populations.

Required: RN with current KY license or compact state, BLS current, graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred; 6 months’ nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification maintained.
• Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of six months' recent experience as a professional nurse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the designated Charge Nurse, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care.
• Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population.
