Job summary

Meridian Health Services in Muncie, IN is seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Technician for day shift to support accurate, timely billing and assist patients and staff.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Responsibilities include processing payments, resolving discrepancies, submitting claims, verifying demographics and insurance eligibility, and providing financial counseling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ICD/CPT coding experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply patient and third-party payments
• Scan documents and resolve payment discrepancies
• Handle credit card payments, credits, and account adjustments
• Manage payer aging and submit electronic/paper claims
• Verify demographics and insurance eligibility
• Monitor payment agreements and coordinate collections
• Provide financial counseling and review financial forms
• Contact clients to schedule payments
• Appeal denied claims and communicate with payers
