Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Registered as Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• Current licensure to practice in the State of Michigan as Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association required.
• Maintain NRP and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Previous work experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized respiratory care for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to improve patient care.
• Participate in staff orientation and training programs.
• Demonstrate technical competence in adult critical care.
• Coordinate services and maintain patient documentation.
• Monitor equipment and maintain skills/competency.
