ARMStaffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Dallas, TX. Day shift, 07:00–19:00, 3x12-hour shifts, with responsibilities including patient assessment, treatments, and ventilator management.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient respiratory status and develop treatment plans.
• Carry out routine treatments using ventilatory equipment, oxygen, and nebulizers.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning by various methods.
• Conduct oximetry and capnography monitoring.
• Review chest x-rays and perform pulmonary function studies.
• Assistance with bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care.
• Maintain and monitor mechanical ventilation and ventilatory equipment.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers about patient care.
