Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Registered Nurse to provide nursing services as part of the patient care team in North Augusta, SC. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, while serving as a bridge between patients, families and providers.

Your role includes participation in performance improvement, maintaining professional competence, and supporting Shared Governance through council involvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited/approved school of nursing.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP (only in select units/departments).
• Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia) or a qualifying multi-state compact license.
• 1 year experience in related area.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing services by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Serve as the front-line representative of the patient care team, acting as the intermediary between patient, family and providers.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and uphold confidentiality, safety and professional standards.
