Job summary

Henderson Hospital in Henderson, NV is looking for an experienced registered nurse to deliver safe, compassionate patient care in a high-volume acute care setting. This role supports a professional healthcare team and upholds the hospital's patient-centered care philosophy.

You will lead by example, ensure service excellence, and comply with policies while meeting staffing and safety requirements. An RN license in NV, BLS, ACLS and department-specific certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada; BLS certification; ACLS certification (Adults); PALS or NRP as required by department.
• Interim RN license may be granted by Nevada State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
