Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a dedicated registered nurse for Henderson Hospital in Henderson, NV. This full-time, day-shift position provides safe, evidence-based nursing care in a leading acute care setting.

Responsibilities include clinical leadership, patient-centered care, and collaboration with the healthcare team to maintain high standards of service excellence. Active Nevada RN license, BLS, and pediatric/neonatal certifications as required are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• One (1) year full time or three (3) years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Other certification as may be required by facility, specialty or department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
