Job summary

Home Chef in California is hiring for a Reach Truck/ Forklift Operator on 1st shift (7 AM–3:30 PM). Responsibilities include receiving, production support, shipping, and organizing warehouse operations to maintain safety and food quality standards.

The role requires experience with standup counterbalance forklifts or reach trucks and a general high school diploma. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and pays a base hourly rate in the CA range.

Qualifications

• Previous experience using standup counterbalance forklift / reach truck preferred.
• General high school degree, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound pallets safely and stage for receiving and QA inspection.
• Move pallets and organize storage areas to support FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Identify pallets to be loaded for outbound shipments and ensure proper load diagrams.
