Job summary

The Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry is hiring Temp Registered Nurses for a Full Time Day schedule. The role requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing, an active RN license, and at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatry or behavioral health.

CPR and de-escalation training are required; first aid may be required. This inpatient/outpatient center serves adults and seniors benefiting from a structured care model.

Qualifications

• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required; first aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Ensure medication administration per orders and document counts of controlled substances.
• Complete admission and discharge processing accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrate therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Communicate with patients, visitors, and treatment teams.
