Job summary

Nemera is seeking a Day Shift Tutor to support production by training new employees on the floor. The role involves onboarding, demonstrating machine start-up and shutdown, and ensuring proper documentation and adherence to specifications throughout shifts.

The position emphasizes safety, quality training, and collaborative work with supervisors and the quality team. Requires 1+ years in injection molding/assembly and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating in injection molding and/or assembly.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and GMP.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes new production employees and introduces work area and teammates.
• Manages Training Checklists and assigns Training Buddies with supervisor support.
• Demonstrates startup, operation and shutdown of machines and responses to malfunctions or accidents.
• Shows how to complete workstation documentation and ensure proper use of records.
• Provides training on product quality, sample production, and visual inspections.
