Job summary

Sonoco Products Company in City of Industry is seeking a Production Worker for the day shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday–Friday). The role reports to the Department Supervisor or crew leader and emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time performance. The rate pays $22.72 per hour.

You will operate spiral or finishing equipment, assist in shipping and general duties, and work to meet customer specifications while maintaining accurate records. Forklift license training is available as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Emphasis on safety practices and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate spiral machines (bundling, strapping, stacking, packing) or finishing equipment.
• Assist in shipping, shop work and general cleaning.
• Fill in for other operator roles after training.
• Maintain production and inspection records.
• Aim to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
