Qualifikationen

• Completion of an approved college-based phlebotomy certification program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 40 hours classroom training and 100 hours of clinical training.
• At least 100 successful venipulations (including skin punctures).

Aufgaben

• Answer phones, schedule laboratory appointments, file records, and perform general administrative duties.
• Serve as front desk receptionist greeting patients and directing inquiries.
• Schedule specialized lab testing and provide patient preparation instructions.
• Maintain quality assurance records and update patient information in MHS GENESIS.
• Train staff on phlebotomy procedures and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
