Carilion Clinic in Christiansburg, VA is hiring a Patient Care Technician-Mobility Aide at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. This full-time, day-shift role provides direct nursing care, monitors vitals, assists with activities of daily living, and supports mobility and patient safety in a busy hospital setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; CNA preferred; AHA BLS-HCP within 6 months; strong teamwork and communication; orientation daytime hours for two weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA preferred and/or relevant patient care experience.
• BLS/CPR or life support within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic nursing care and monitor vital signs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Document observations in the EMR and communicate with licensed staff.
• Support unit efficiency, staffing coverage, and patient flow.
