Job summary

KLN Family Brands, Perham, MN, is seeking a Day Shift Panning Operator to run candy coating lines, mix ingredients, package and box products, and conduct quality checks with strict sanitation standards.

The role follows a weekly production schedule, requires operating panning, polishing and packaging equipment, inspecting sanitation, logging materials and lot records, and maintaining equipment and records with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Follow weekly and daily production schedule.
• Operate panning, polishing and packaging equipment.
• Inspect all equipment for sanitation and food safety purposes and complete pre-start up paperwork.
• Conduct setup, adjustment and movement of equipment for processes.
• Process product to required specifications, measuring out all ingredients.
• Report any problems with materials or equipment to Production Supervisor or Quality Control.
• Perform quality checks as assigned.
• Inspect and record all ingredients used, inventory duties.
• Clean and perform maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Weigh out and record waste at the end of each shift.
• Turn all required paperwork in to Production Supervisor after ensuring it is complete and accurate.

Panning Operator Day Shift – Kenny's Candy & Confections

Hours: 6:40am - 3:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Compensation:

• All in hourly compensation: $21.12/hr
  • Base Pay: $19.90/hr
  • Sign on Bonus: $1.22
• Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.7 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2025)

What We Are Looking For

We’re now hiring a Day Shift Panning Operator of all candy coated licorice flavors produced, including the physical mixing of ingredients, packaging and boxing, accurate quality control tests and sanitation of the work areas and equipment.
