Job summary

Intermountain Electronics is seeking a Paint Operations Assistant on Day Shift at our Price, Utah facility. You will support surface preparation, cleaning, material handling, and general production tasks to keep paint operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ~1 month related experience or training.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Regularly lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Must stand for long periods and work on concrete surfaces.
• Read, interpret, and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills for manufacturing environments.
• Forklift and overhead crane certification required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, parts, surfaces for paint or coating.
• Clean and prepare surfaces by washing, vacuuming, masking, and caulking.
• Hang, lift, position, and move parts onto racks for processing.
• Operate pressure-washing equipment for cleaning.
• Operate forklifts safely and use overhead cranes as needed.
• Wear respiratory protection when required.
• Complete paint touch-ups to return equipment to OEM quality.
• Assist with disassembly, cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Patch and repair surfaces; perform emergency repair work when necessary.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas; assist with other tasks.
