Job summary

Adams Group in Arbuckle, CA is seeking a Packing Big Filler Operator to set up, operate, and maintain the tote and drum filler to meet established quality and customer specifications. This role supports the packing team and requires adherence to SOPs and GMP.

You will ensure accurate loading, shipping documentation, and inventory control while maintaining a clean, safe, organized workspace. The position offers full-time hours, day shifts, and opportunities to grow within a values-driven company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, shipping and receiving, manufacturing, or material handling operations.
• Forklift certification required or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse space in an organized and efficient manner to support shipping and receiving operations.
• Receive and unload incoming materials from suppliers, complete required receiving documentation, and accurately store materials in designated locations.
• Maintain positive control of all shipping and receiving documentation to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Coordinate outbound shipments by identifying orders based on scheduled appointment times and communicating any required changes.
• Verify lot numbers and ensure accurate product selection for outbound shipments.
• Load trucks according to product specifications, quantities, and customer requirements.
• Follow Packing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and accurate shipping practices.
• Apply trailer and container seals and accurately document seal numbers on load documentation.
• Load intermodal and export shipping containers using proper loading techniques.
• Apply appropriate dunnage and load securement methods to protect products during transportation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Properly use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses to the Superintendent of Operations and Plant Manager.
• Participate in internal and external audits and maintain audit-ready work areas.
• Follow all company safety policies, attend required safety meetings and tailgate discussions, and perform all assigned work safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
