Ajinomoto Foods North America in Portland is seeking a DayShift Production Associate to pack bagged product into boxes and stack finished cases on pallets in a refrigerated environment, with duties including inspecting and communicating issues with equipment or product. Schedule is typically Monday - Friday, weekends as needed, starting at 7:30am.

Starting pay is $17.80/hr. Benefits start DAY ONE: medical, dental, vision; company-paid STD, LTD, Life; 80 hours vacation and 40 hours sick; 401(k)

Qualifications

• Basic math knowledge.
• Reading and writing skills.
• English communication preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare bags and boxes.
• Ensure proper coding and sealing of bags and boxes.
• Stack finished cases on pallets.
• Monitor packing equipment and report issues.
• Follow GMP and sanitation practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
