Job summary

Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized care in an outpatient setting using the nursing process across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

The role requires an accredited nursing education; a Bachelor's in nursing is preferred and an unencumbered RN license in the practice state with necessary licensure and certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA accreditation. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs and maintains required department licensure and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized outpatient nursing care.
• Coordinate care, patient assessment and education in collaboration with the healthcare team and physicians.
• Demonstrate competency within nursing practice standards and patient population needs.
