Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking aStaff Nurse who provides comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. You will work within the nursing process, assessing and planning care while coordinating with the care team.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure and BCLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required within 6 months for certain units. New graduates are welcome to apply, with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in Georgia is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS certifications expected within 6 months where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff and maintain standards of practice.
• Adhere to organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
