Job summary

Cardinal Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Supervisor of Operations/Inventory Management to directly supervise staff, oversee daily inventory tasks, and collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient material handling and distribution.

You will lead training, set priorities, resolve issues, build customer relationships, and monitor critical dashboards; prior ERP experience (SAP or Manhattan) and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 2-3 years related experience preferred.
• Prior experience with continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (Pivot Tables and spreadsheets).
• Experience working within ERP’s (SAP or Manhattan) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Operations and Inventory tasks within the facility.
• Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Hold employees accountable, sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
• Handle escalations and apply expertise to solve standard and non-standard problems within own area.
• Mentor and empower others to achieve success and build customer relationships.
• Monitor critical inventory control dashboards and participate in resource management decisions.
