Job summary

Good Samaritan Society – Mandan Sunset is seeking an experienced nurse leader to supervise nursing home staff and activities, ensuring high-quality resident care and accurate documentation.

The role includes staff management, coordinating resources across shifts, and collaborating with providers to deliver comprehensive care in a faith-based, non-profit environment. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing and active RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• For Rural Health Network facilities and Good Samaritan Society locations, leadership may consider an educational plan to achieve a Bachelor’s degree within five years.
• Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing home staff and nursing activities, including resident care and record-keeping.
• Assist in managing the nursing staff assigned to a particular shift.
• Assigns residents to available nursing staff, considering condition and staff skill level.
• Collaborates with providers to plan, implement and evaluate care.
