Job summary

Masonicare Corp. in Shelton, CT is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for the day shift (16 hrs/wk, EOW).

This role provides leadership to nursing staff, ensures quality and safety of patient care, and supports the clinical program in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Nursing. Under the direction of Nursing leadership, you will supervise off-shift staffing, reinforce policy adherence, and promote professional development through mandatory training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of professional nursing or BSN in nursing or healthcare field.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• CT RN license and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains departmental policies and objectives to meet nursing standards.
• Oversees off-shift staffing and supervises nursing staff.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and collaborate with physicians and staff.
• Communicates updates to the team and attends administrative meetings.
• Supports education programs and mandatory training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
