NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island is seeking a Nurse Manager for Surgical/Telemetry, Days. You will provide clinical leadership for designated areas, ensuring exemplary nursing practice and staff development.

The role requires NYS RN licensure, an AHA BLS certificate, and a Master’s degree in nursing with 3+ years of clinical leadership experience; leadership certification is preferred upon eligibility.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State.
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
• Master's degree in nursing required.
• At least three years of pertinent clinical practice.
• Certification in nursing leadership required upon eligibility.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Provides clinical leadership and management of a designated care area on a 24-hour basis.
• Develops and sustains an environment of excellence in patient care and staff development.
• Leads budgeting, staffing, and performance improvement initiatives for the unit.
• Collaborates with inter-professional teams to enhance quality and patient experience.
• Interviews, hires, and evaluates departmental leadership in line with standards.
