Job summary

St. Frances Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Louisiana is seeking a dedicated LPN for the day shift (FT) and a weekend day shift (PT) to join our licensed nursing team.

The role includes administering medications, collaborating with physicians, supervising Nursing Assistants, maintaining resident records, and ensuring consistent, quality care across shifts to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed in the state.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Must be willing to work weekday, weekend, and holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; document accordingly.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other staff to ensure continuum of care.
• Supervise Nursing Assistants and assign tasks to meet resident needs.
• Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and complete reports as required.
