Job summary

Truedgesolutions is seeking a Safety Professional for the Day Shift in Aiken, SC. This role implements and improves safety programs across construction and maintenance activities at the Savannah River Site, ensuring compliance with DOE and OSHA regulations.

The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of relevant safety experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, and strong communication skills. Benefits include health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety professional experience in a DOE, nuclear, heavy industrial, or government construction/maintenance environment.
• Working knowledge of DOE ISMS, DOE O 440.1, OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926, and safety requirements.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day safety oversight and hazard assessments.
• Support development of job hazard analyses and safety briefs.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analyses.
• Perform safety inspections and audits, documenting findings.
• Ensure compliance with DOE and OSHA safety standards.
