Qualifications

H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
Licenses/certifications: BLS, NCSO, and Texas Driver's License; acquired within 90 days.
Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check with a clean driving record.
Minimum 1 year of Security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provides security functions at designated posts during varying hours and shifts.
Observes all persons entering and exiting the Hospital and maintains visitor and entry logs.
Ensures sign-in logs and documents are maintained per procedures.
Monitors area for potential threats to patients, visitors, employees, and staff.
Completes Daily Activity Reports, Incident and hospital reports as required.
Assists in emergency situations by following proper procedures.
Trains for disaster situations including visitor management and emergency responses.
