Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; LCSO certification within 180 days of entry.
• IAHSS CAHSO certification within 90 days of entry.
• Texas Driver's License obtained within 90 days of entry.
• Clean MVR and passing a Physical Fitness Test by entry date.
• 3 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience required.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervisory security functions at posts and patrol locations.
• Patrols the hospital and monitors traffic and parking areas.
• Operates hospital vehicles and performs assigned duties.
• Responds to emergency situations and attends required trainings.
• Performs limited supervisory duties in supervisor's absence.
