Job summary

ArtiFlex Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a Day Shift Mold Maker to build, repair, and refurbish die cast and plastic injection molds in a high-mix environment. You will read CAD data and blueprints, assemble complex components, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You should have 5+ years of mold making experience or a journeyman credential, strong attention to detail, and solid communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Mold Maker or 5 years of equivalent experience building new die cast or plastic injection mold/dies preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD models
• Experience with operating manual machines
• Exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Build and repair all types, sizes, and shapes of die cast and plastic injection mold dies from blueprints or CAD files.
• Assemble and fit complex mold components (e.g., cooling channels, ejector systems)
• Perform preventative maintenance, and repair existing molds and tooling
• Interface regularly with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
• Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Lead by example, help to strengthen our culture of employee safety, product quality, and on-time delivery. Ensuring all are treated with dignity and respect.
