Join our team at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach as a Medical Assistant in the Outpatient Otolaryngology Clinic. You will collaborate with surgeons and staff to support patient flow, collect information, monitor patients, and assist with examinations using state-of-the-art technology.

The role offers daytime hours 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience, pursue advanced positions, and develop clinical skills in a respected health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting program.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross within new hire period.
• Completion of a clinical externship OR extensive clinical experience.
• Military medical training will be considered for relevant background.

Responsabilités

• Assist with screenings and treatments by gathering information and updating health data.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Administer selected medications under the provider's direction.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties including filing, scheduling and patient registration.
