Corpus Cardiology Associates is hiring a Clinical Medical Assistant for a full-time daytime schedule (Mon-Fri, days). The role focuses on patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with physicians to deliver high-quality care.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of clinical medical assisting experience and must hold Medical Assistant Certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NCRMA) or obtain certification within the required timeframe. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or other direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
• Check-in and check-out patients.
• Enter charges and payments.
• Answering the telephone and entering patient information.
• Verify insurance and demographics; collect co-pays.
• Support nursing staff and prepare exam rooms.
• Assist with minor procedures and injections; sterilize instruments.
