Job summary

MultiCare Health System seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for Auburn Medical Center to lead patient care teams and ensure high-quality services in a dynamic clinical setting.

You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate care within the assigned unit, and apply independent clinical judgment daily while aligning with hospital policies and patient care standards. A strong leadership background and RN licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Washington State or Multistate License (MLS).
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in professional or technical role/function.
• Previous supervisory or lead capacity experience.

Responsibilities

• You will supervise and coordinate the activities of patient care personnel within the assigned clinical area and/or facility following physician instructions, MHS policies, and approved patient care standards
• You will have hybrid functions across administrative and patient care services
• You will execute tasks as assigned and according to the clinical area of specialty
• Innovate by recommending new and/or revise unit methods for defining quality management goals

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
