Job summary

Quanex in Kent, WA is seeking a Material Handler to join our team. The role involves receiving, stocking finished goods, and pulling customer orders, with a focus on safe, timely material movement.

You’ll scan inventory, print shipping docs, load trucks, and perform cycle counts. Must have forklift experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and read packing layouts. We offer benefits and a 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience with certification preferred.
• Good reading ability to understand packaging layouts.
• Good computer proficiency with the ability to use various systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock finished goods and pull customer orders.
• Scan finished goods when received, stocked, moved, and shipped.
• Record/print inventory activity information.
• Enter and print shipping documentation.
• Load flat-bed and/or box trucks, as assigned.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
