Farwest Steel Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech for our Ogden operations. The role covers safe installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and relocation of mechanical systems, with a day shift and a starting wage of $26.90 per hour.

Expect reading blueprints, welding, fabrication and potential weekend/on-call shifts in a fast-paced steel service setting. Candidates should have 2 years of maintenance in a production environment, welding/cutting capabilities, and the

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• 2 years of production maintenance experience.
• Welding certification and CAD experience are pluses.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility and production machinery.
• Troubleshoot, repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Work on mechanical drive components including bearings and belts.
• Perform welding, layout and fabrication work.
• Install, dismantle and move production machinery; read blueprints.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and logs.
