Job summary

Oetiker is seeking a Maintenance Technician (1st shift) to maintain and repair production equipment across all levels, ensuring minimal downtime and a safe working environment. The role involves diagnosing issues in automated systems, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting changeovers with tooling.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in manufacturing, PLC experience, and certifications in forklift/scissor lifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pneumatics, ladder logic, basic electrical systems, and PLC equipment required.
• Welding and machinery experience a plus.
• Forklift and scissor lift certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on production machines.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems in automated equipment and initiates repair.
• Adjusts/replaces electrical sensors for proper operation of assembly machines.
• Performs preventative maintenance and cleaning for safe, reliable operation.
