Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in West Chicago, IL. The day shift runs from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and focuses on installing, repairing and maintaining production equipment and building systems to ensure reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance technician experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts and test fixes.
• Follow safety, quality, GMP policies and procedures.
• Train production staff on proper operation and maintenance.
• Limited travel may be required.
