Job summary

Insteel Industries, at our Gallatin, TN facility, seeks a Maintenance Mechanical Technician for day shift (Mon.-Thu., 7:00am–7:00pm). You will install, maintain and repair industrial machinery, focusing on safety and zero-harm work environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hydraulic/pneumatic systems and performing preventative maintenance. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years in industrial maintenance, ability to read instructions and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
• Must have 3 years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic math for measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Operate cutting torch and welding equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
