Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Level B) for a 1st shift role. This mid-level position focuses on maintaining critical machinery, reducing downtime, and ensuring product quality through hands-on repairs, PM/PdM, and equipment optimization.

You will work with a collaborative team to support safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Strong background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Comprehensive safety knowledge including LOTO, confined space, PPE, hot work, PIT, fall protection.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues impacting safety, quality, and production efficiency.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance using condition-monitoring techniques.
• Support plant upgrades, reliability improvements, and equipment installations.
• Mentor entry-level technicians and collaborate with senior staff on complex tasks.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and communicate maintenance work clearly.
