Job summary

Nestlé Health Science seeks a Maintenance Mechanic (Mechanic C) to keep production equipment in good condition, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support upgrades. This intermediate role carries increasing responsibility and operates on the day shift (7am–7pm) in Savannah, GA.

Requirements include 2–3 years in industrial maintenance or electromechanical systems, a high school diploma or GED, ability to read English, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in industrial maintenance or electromechanical systems
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and understand English for safety procedures and documenting maintenance activities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in loud areas or confined spaces
• Preferred: technical degree in industrial maintenance, electromechanical maintenance, or electronics

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment including mechanical and power transfer systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
• Read, review, and update mechanical drawings, schematics, and P&ID diagrams
• Support equipment upgrades, startups, and major maintenance projects
• Coach and support operators during adjustments and changeovers
• Identify and address safety concerns and follow all plant procedures and standards
