Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our facilities team in Frederick, MD. This full-time, dayshift role runs Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm with an on-call rotation, performing building and systems maintenance to keep our hospital and campus operations safe and reliable.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, read blueprints, coordinate with contractors and document activities in the CMMS while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years HVAC / Maintenance / Electrical / Plumbing experience in commercial setting.
• OR - 2 years HVAC/Maintenance/Electrical/Plumbing Maintenance experience in a health care setting.
• Valid Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance, Repair and contractor coordination.
• General building maintenance including drywall, plumbing and grounds tasks.
• Support Facilities Management systems, equipment and contractors.
• Participate in planned/unplanned interruptions of systems as needed.
• Maintain excellent communication and customer service.
