Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Hancock State Prison team in Sparta, GA. The day shift runs 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM with rotating weekends.

This role emphasizes structured clinical practice in a correctional setting. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care under RN supervision, perform essential documentation, and collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams to address diverse health needs of incarcerated patients.

Qualifications

• LPN license active and valid in GA or compact license.
• CPR or BLS certification active.
• Ability to obtain security clearance through GADOC/background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, ethical, evidence-based nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Follow safety, security, and infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
• Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
