Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Hospital at Cone Health Medical Group provides support to the care team in a hospital setting, developing and implementing patient care under supervision and preparing equipment for procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of ADN required within 4 years of hire.
• New LPN graduates must be accepted into the Cone Health LPN Academy.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient history and medical information for documentation in hospital records.
• Develop and implement care plans under supervision.
• Maintain sterile techniques and safety as per Cone Health policy.
• Communicate health care instructions to patients and families clearly.
• Assist in emergencies and respond to safety hazards.
